Variable note:
It is important to notice there is a difference in the questions asked between Wave 2 and Wave 12 despite having the same variable name. In wave 2 the question is "(As an alternative to driving your car to commute to work, how willing or unwilling would you be toâ¦) work from home?" In wave 12, however, the question is "How often do you work at/from home?" Therefore, while Wave 12 question concerns actual behaviour, Wave 2 question asks about the willingness to work from home as an alternative to commuting to a workplace. Consequently, "wkhome" should not be treated as identical across Waves 2 and 12.
