Registration now open – Biosocial Conference 2026: combining biological and social data

Understanding Society is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its Biosocial Conference 2026.

The conference is a new one-day event bringing together researchers working with biological and social data.

The conference will take place in London at Broadway House on 15 October 2026.

The event will feature one keynote speaker, Dr Michelle-Kelly Irvin from the Centre for Epidemiology and Research in Population Health. There will also be parallel sessions on a range of biosocial research themes.

Research themes include:

  • Cardiometabolic health
  • Biosocial survey methods
  • Fertility, pregnancy and parenthood
  • Omics interactions
  • Social connections
  • Growing older

The conference will be showcasing research using longitudinal studies, including Understanding Society.

This is an in-person conference and attendance is free of charge, but registration is required.
