The initial call, which has just opened, is directed: offices across Parliament have drafted projects, which they would like an academic fellow to conduct. The work may involve filling gaps in expertise, building staff capacity and skills, informing parliamentary scrutiny, and analysing and evaluating parliamentary practices.
There will also be an open call in spring 2020.
Applicants in this round should:
- choose the project they would like to apply for
- fill in an application form
- send in a two-page CV
- supply a sample of writing for a non-academic audience
Fellowships are open to all UK-based researchers who have a PhD, or university staff working in impact or knowledge exchange, and who are eligible for a parliamentary pass.
The deadline for applications is 19 January, with interviews taking place from 3 February.
