Derived Variable Note

This classification follows closely the household composition classification in the Labour Force Survey (LFS). In contrast to the LFS, this version treats as couples all those who are married, cohabiting or in a same sex relationship. The typology simply counts adults and children and does not consider who is responsible for the children.
