The survey methods mini-conference is part of our 10 Wave anniversary year. Curated by our survey methods team, and free to attend, the online conference will feature paper presentations, keynote talks, training and discussion on the theme of survey methods for longitudinal surveys. You can find out more about all our Wave 10 anniversary events on our conference website.
If you would like to present a paper at the mini-conference we’re looking for papers that focus on issues that arise in the context of longitudinal data collection. Papers should provide an overview of current knowledge on a particular topic and/or important new research that provides theoretical or empirical insights. We are particularly looking for papers that focus on:
- Non-response and methods to increase survey participation and/or reduce response bias
- Data linkage, including collecting consents
- Additional data collection tasks, such as using mobile apps, sensors or voice recordings
- Collecting biomeasures and samples
Presenters will have 20 minutes for their paper, plus time for questions. The survey methods mini-conference will be held online and there is the option to pre-record your presentation in advance. We welcome papers from students as well as experienced researchers.
The deadline for abstracts is 17.00 Friday 30 July.
Submit your abstract using the online form on our conference website.
