Data from Wave 10 of Understanding Society has now been added to the marital and cohabitation histories file.
The file has data from 1991 to 2019. Partnership histories information covers the start and end date of all marriages, civil partnerships and cohabitations reported by adult respondents in all Understanding Society and BHPS samples. The dataset includes two files; one in long format with each row representing one partnership spell for each person in the dataset, the other in wide format where each row represents one person.
