In April 2022 we’re hosting an online conference with the theme of People and Places. We’re looking for papers that use longitudinal data to explore any aspect of this theme. Indicative topics include, but are not limited to:
- Housing, neighbourhoods and local population dynamics
- Transport and mobilities
- Creating healthy and happy places
- The environment, environmental behaviours and environmental attitudes
- Working lives
We’re particularly looking for papers that showcase research that has used our Special or Secure Licence geographical linked data.
The conference is curated by our Topic Champions for Housing, Dr Rory Coulter, and Transport, Dr Kiron Chatterjee. The conference will feature research paper presentations, keynote talks and time for interaction and discussion.
Presenters will have 20 minutes for their paper, plus time for questions. The People and Place conference will be held online and will be free to attend. There is the option to pre-record your presentation in advance. We welcome papers from students as well as experienced researchers and policy professionals.
Our two previous mini-conferences have attracted a large number of diverse delegates, so this is a great opportunity to present your research to an international audience of researchers and policymakers.
Submit an abstract of 250 words using this online form. The deadline for submissions is 17.00 on Friday 11 February.
