“It feels like an informal annual report on the business that is my life”

“The Understanding Society interview is my personal progress report,” says one participant who believes the study made them think twice about their career.

Each time the Understanding Society interview comes around, it gives me a chance to assess my progress since the last meeting.

The interviewer’s questions about my happiness levels at home, at work, and with friends and family are really the only time at which I am made to stop and think about each area of my life. This way, it feels like an informal annual report on the business that is my life.
