Question and Answers

What is your favourite part of the interview/what areas do you find most interesting to complete?

I like filling in the self-assessment bit about my physical and emotional health because, as the questions don’t change, it makes me compare where I am now to where I was the year before.

Why do you like being part of Understanding Society?

Understanding Society has been so important to me for all of my life and I feel it’s such a privilege to be a representative for other young people in my circumstances.

Are there any improvements we could make (e.g. more regular mailings, more information on website)?

I would love to receive more mailings from Understanding Society, which is why I started following them on Twitter.

Can you remember being approached to take part? What did you think about being asked?

I can’t remember being approached because my mum started contributing after the 1990 census and I wasn’t born until 1992.
