Sea Hero Quest is a fun game you can play on your phone or tablet that helps scientists understand how people move about and find their way within their surroundings. This can also help scientists to find out more about dementia, a problem some people have that makes it hard for them to remember things, think clearly, and talk well. When you play Sea Hero Quest, the game takes you on a journey on a boat to help a son recover his father's memories. While you play, the game keeps track of how you move around to help scientists learn more about how people find their way around. It doesn't collect your personal identifying information. It will begin with a short survey asking some background questions about you, and then begin with Level 1 of the game.

While this data will be important for science, it is also a fun game to play. Sea Hero Quest was nominated for a BAFTA in its "Game Beyond Entertainment" category.
