Cognitive ability: Delayed word recall: Number of correct items

Cognitive ability: Result of the delayed word recall test (DWR). The (DWR) is a test used to identify Alzheimer’s disease. Respondents were randomly assigned to be read out by the interviewer or by the computer one of four lists of 10 words for the immediate word recall test. Following the number series test, respondents were asked by the interviewer to recall any of the words they have been read earlier in the interview as part of the immediate word recall test. This variable records the number of words the respondent remembered correctly.
