Dyadic Adjustment Scale: Relationship cohesion subscale
Dyadic Adjustment scale: Relationship cohesion subscale. Based on questions from the Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scale (RDAS), a self report questionnaire that assesses seven dimensions of couple relationship quality. Sum of four items that ask the respondents to rate certain aspects of her/his relationship on a 5 or 6 point scale. Item values are recoded so they run from 0 to 5 (or 4) such that higher values represent greater levels of cohesion. The subscale ranges from 0-19 and is set to missing if any items are missing. Note that there was a survey implementation error, in Wave 3, in the collection of the item measuring partner engagement in outside interests. This means the subscale cannot be computed in that survey wave.
