car no.3: Main driver of car
Datafile
Index term
Variable note:
This variable is miscoded for Waves 10 and 13; where option 0 (Non-household member) is mistakenly coded as option 1 (Person 1), and similar errors exist for the rest of the value options. Additionally, some households have recorded non-resident members as drivers. The following syntax whodrive_fix_for_users can be used to accurately recode these values and set non-household members to 0 within these waves.
