Ethnic group membership (BHPS)
This records the ethnic group of a BHPS sample member. This question was first asked in Wave 1 of the BHPS of all adult respondents and after that only if that was their first interview until Wave 12 of BHPS. This question corresponded to the 1991 Census ethnic group question. This version was not asked in UKHLS and so this not available for sample members who joined as part of UKHLS, or joined BHPS after Wave 12.
