Have a query about using Understanding Society? Discuss it directly with our User Support team via the User Support Forum or online helpdesk.
The User Support team are available Monday-Friday to help data users make the best use of the Study. There are different ways to get in touch with the team:
You can post a question to the User Support Forum, where it will answered by the User Suport team. You can also see the queries that have been raised in the past and comment on other user's questions. We aim to respond to simple queries within 48 hours and more complex issues within 7 working days.
If you'd like to speak to a member of the User Support team you can join an online helpdesk session. These are run via video conferencing software and are one-on-one sessions with a member of the User Support team. If you would like to access the online helpdesk please email us and we will respond with joining information and arrange a convenient time for the conversation.
Join the JISCMail discussion list
Understanding Society has a JISCMail discussion list for users of the Study to ask and answer questions about analysing the dataset. If you would like to subscribe to this list please email UKHLS-REQUEST@JISCMAIL.AC.UK.
