SF-12 Mental Component Summary (PCS)

SF-12 Mental Component Summary (MCS). This measure converts valid answers to the origin questions into a single mental functioning score, resulting in a continuous scale with a range of 0 (low functioning) to 100 (high functioning). (2001), How to Score Version 2 of the SF-12® Health Survey (With a Supplement Documenting Version 1), Lincoln, RI, QualityMetric Incorporated. In IP1 the information was collected in the adult questionnaire (associated variables will not have the _SC prefix) and from wave 2 onward it is collected in the self-completion questionnaire. Also note that there was a data collection experiment in IP2 and in IP7.
