Cognitive ability: Interviewer-recorded observation of whether anyone living in the household and/or outside the household was present during the delayed word recall test (DWR). The (DWR) is a test used to identify Alzheimer’s disease. The DWR usually involves: (a) repeated elaborate encoding of ten separate words, (b) a filled delay, and (c) delayed free recall.
