Variable note:
In Wave 8, the coding frames for hlitrans and litrans differ, although they should be consistent. There are 111 cases where the hlitrans value does not match the litrans value for any household member. For instance, in some households, all individual interviews were recorded as translated into one language (e.g., Urdu), while the corresponding household interview was recorded as translated into another language (e.g., Portuguese). Given the number of such cases, these discrepancies are unlikely to reflect genuine translation differences.
