Modified OECD equivalence scale
Household income conversion factor. Modified OECD scale. Assigns a weight of 1 to the first adult (person aged 14 or older) in the household, a weight of 0.5 to each additional adult, and a weight of 0.3 to each child (person aged 0-13). This variable is set to missing [-9] if any household member’s age is unknown. For further details about derived income variables, see Derived Income variables.
