usual gross pay per month: current job

Is the gross usual monthly variable derived from the variable, w_paygl which is the gross pay at last payment or if the last payment is not usual then, w_payu, which is the usual pay. These amounts are converted to a monthly equivalent. If w_payu is reported net instead of gross, then it is converted back to a gross amount by applying the rules of the tax system. If there is missing data then it is imputed. See the Derived Income variables section of the Main Study User Guide for further details.
