monthly gross rent, including housing benefit

Is the computed monthly gross rent i.e., including any housing benefit received. Missing values are imputed and where the household reports 100% housing benefit (in which case no rent value is reported), the value is set equal to the housing benefit reported in the individual questionnaire and a value imputed if not reported there. The variable w_rentg_if is an imputation flag for w_rentgrs_dv. For further details about derived income variables, see the Derived Income variables section of the User Guide.
