Variable note:
Election modules are asked when a general election, or a national election in Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, is called. These modules are fielded from the day after the election and continue for 12 months. For more information, see the UK General Elections FAQ. We have created a set of derived variables that bring together all voting information from every wave in which the election questions were asked. The code used to generate these variables is available here: Creating UK General Election Variables. The variables in this file also correct for minor routing errors.
