Free course: Introduction to Understanding Society using Stata - June 2014

11 Jun 2014
to
12 Jun 2014

This free course is aimed at new users of Understanding Society, as well as those who have so far made use only of simpler aspects of the data. The course will make use of all three waves of data released by UKDA on 22 November 2013. The course aims to guide the user through the complexities of using this data for cross-section and longitudinal analysis, and ensure that they can effectively make use of as much of the data as they require for their own research projects. Users will need a basic working knowledge of Stata. Without this basic knowledge of Stata the user will not be able to make optimal use of the course.

We are also offering researchers the opportunity to attend a follow-up course: Using the German Socio-Economic Panel with Understanding Society in cross-national comparative research. This will take place on Friday 13 June 2014 following the two-day Stata training.
