When individuals live in the same household with their spouse or partner, that information is recorded in the files w_egoalt. Using that information the data team provides the pidp of the spouse or partner: w_ppid (w_sppid for spouses only) in the datafiles w_indall (which includes basic information about all household members) and w_indresp (which includes responses to the adult interviews for all those 16+ or older who completed the adult questionnaire). [Note, w_ is the wave prefix placeholder which is equal to a for Wave 1, b for Wave 2 and so on.]
