Wave 13 is the latest data release of the Understanding Society main survey.
In this wave the Understanding Society questionnaire was redeveloped in three areas: employment, wealth and retirement. Employment questions now better capture responses from people who have more than one job and take into account non-standard working, including portfolio working. The retirement planning module has been updated to take into account changes in the retirement landscape. Questions about the benefits and disadvantages of retirement have been replaced with questions about expected working patterns and timings in older age. You can find full information about the changes to employment questions in Wave 13 in the user guide.
