Join us on the 1-3 July for three days of longitudinal and household panel research.
You can now book your place at the Scientific Conference, taking place in-person on 1-3 July at the University of Essex. The Understanding Society Conference takes place every other year and is an opportunity for researchers from around the world to share the latest research on longitudinal household panel studies.
This year we have 25 sessions covering research on a wide range of topics, including health, education, families, inequality, fertility, politics, and ethnicity. We also have papers on survey methods and survey processes.
The full programme for the three days is on our dedicated Scientific Conference website.
This year we are pleased to welcome as our keynote speakers Professor Anne McMunn, who will be speaking on studying care from a lifecourse perspective, and Professor Tak Wing Chan, who will present on social diversity and community cohesion. Our final keynote will be delivered by our Director, Professor Michaela Benzeval, who will explore families in Understanding Society.
You can register for the Scientific Conference on the conference website.
