Summary
Landman Economics and Virtual Worlds were commissioned by the Scottish Government to produce four sets of projections for child poverty in Scotland, based on the targets set within the Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017. This report describes the methods used to forecast child poverty and gives details of the results. It provides baseline projections of child poverty in Scotland if no action was to be taken. The projections take account of tax and benefit changes already announced by the UK and Scottish Governments.
