Research

Understanding Society provides key evidence about life in the UK. As the largest study of its kind, Understanding Society provides crucial information for researchers about the causes and consequences of change and stability in people's lives.

The rich data from Understanding Society has been used to inform a canon of research which is searchable by subject, publication type, author and year of publication. Understanding Society also has its own Working Paper Series, podcasts, a collection of case studies and a catalogue of in-house publications.
