Summary
The aim of this report is to investigate more recent developments in health and economic outcomes across the North and the rest of England, and crucially, to evaluate the role of improving health and reducing inequalities on employment and productivity. This could help inform the government’s economic growth mission and, ultimately, reduce the entrenched social, economic and health inequalities across the country
