The code creates UK general election (GE) variables for 2010, 2015, 2017, and 2019. The variable for 2015 is adjusted for minor inconsistencies in missing values. The variables for 2017 and 2019 adjust for:
- correcting the same inconsistencies,
- capturing the value of the GE variable in the wave in which it was asked,
- if the GE question was asked (accidentally) in more than one wave, taking the value of the first response.
