How to use the Code Creator
To make use of the tool, you should have already downloaded the EUL version of the Understanding Society main survey, SN6614.
Save your variables, then click Build data file to generate your code. The code will allow you to create your own data file containing just your variable selection, plus a handy set of commonly used sociodemographic variables and cross-sectional and longitudinal weight variables.
The data file produced will be at the individual level and cover all ages, irrespective of the variables requested. You can restrict the sample for analysis based on your needs/preferences after you have created the file.
You can add your email to the tool to receive a link to the code that you can return to later.
