Question interviewer instructions:
ASK THE RESPONDENT TO REMOVE OUTER GARMENTS (E.G. JUMPER, CARDIGAN OR JACKET) AND EXPOSE THEIR UPPER ARMS BY ROLLING UP THEIR SLEEVES. IF THE SLEEVE IS TOO TIGHT TO ROLL UP, THE CUFF MAY BE PLACED OVER ONE LAYER OF LIGHT CLOTHING. GET THE RESPONDENT TO SIT IN A COMFORTABLE CHAIR WITH A SUITABLE SUPPORT SO THAT THE RIGHT ARM IS RESTING AT A LEVEL TO BRING THE ELBOW TO APPROXIMATELY HEART LEVEL. SELECT CUFF AND ATTACH TO THE RESPONDENT’S RIGHT ARM IF POSSIBLE. RECORD CUFF SIZE CHOSEN.
