Costs and charges

I am a student or Early Career Researcher*, do I still have to pay?

If you are presenting a poster, workshop or oral presentation, then your conference fee will be waived (you still have to pay for your accommodation, and for the conference dinner). This will be managed online when you register. If you are attending the conference as a delegate (and not presenting), the conference fee still applies.

*An Early Career Researcher is defined as anyone who has completed their PHD within the last six years.

Are there additional food and drink costs?

Morning refreshments, afternoon refreshments and lunch, will be available throughout the three days of the conference, at no extra charge. For evening meals, the drinks reception on Tuesday 21st July from 6pm is included in the conference fee. However, the barbecue and live music on Wednesday 22nd July from 7pm has an additional fee. Food and drink can be purchased in the campus outlets.
